The End

In the end, Joachim dies an unfortunate death at the hands of Leon, alone in the dungeon. His plan, foiled, and his second chance at life, ruined along with it. Undoubtedly, he not only failed the battle, but failed himself in the process. His disdain for humans was forever with him until the end. As Leon, you watch him fade away into the darkness of the cell as he gave you hints about the ebony stone.

What if this was not the case? If Joachim succeeded in defeating Leon, he would have certainly wanted his revenge on his former master. However, without the help of the Vampire Killer, he would be rendered helpless and still have come to a regrettable end. It seems there was nothing left for him after all.

On the other hand, Joachim has a very different ending in his story. Instead of falling at the hands of Leon and leaving his plans unfinished, he succeeds in getting to Walterfs throne room where he sits, waiting for Walter.

He tilts his head back and laughs.
